The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends that most patients have their teeth professionally cleaned and examined every 6 months by their dentist. During this appointment stains, tartar, plaque, and other debris are removed from the teeth and surrounding gum tissue. The teeth are also polished. One of our dentists will then thoroughly examine your mouth for cavities, broken teeth or fillings, gum disease, perform an oral cancer screening, and can address any other problems, needs, or questions you may have.
